Riverfest is the largest
event that Milton puts on.
Treasure Hunts, A fresh market, motorcycle shows,
children’s activities, several car shows, a boat parade,
boat show, a pirate attack where officials walk the plank,
live entertainment, a Chitty Bang parade of old vehicles, karaoke fun, a special children’s
treasure hunt, a salute to our
veterans and our men and women in uniform, all topped off by
a brilliant fireworks display.
It’s fun from early morning to late in the evening.
Boats usually flow into
Milton from both the local area and as far away as Destin
(by boat Milton is only 20 minutes from Pensacola).
By sundown, the numerous
boats nestle in and anchor along the Milton Riverwalk to
await the end of the most patriotic day of the year,
Riverfest!
