Welcome to “WATER-YER-NEEDS” Blackwater River Tours. Take a ride on the wild side and visit our magnificent rivers and bay. Milton is located in Northwest Florida, Santa Rosa County. Tour the heart of Historic Milton by water and enjoy our charming river town as mother nature intended. Come jump on our boat and let Dixie Lou take you on an up close and personal tour with nature as mother nature intended. Our river and bay tours are all inclusive including yer choice of location, meal, length of tour and music. Music choices are: Jamin’ Jazz, Boat full of Blues, Rock the Boat or Crusin’ Country. Two and three hour tours are provided with hor’dovers, donuts, pastries, sodas, juice and coffee. Four to six hour tours are provided with yer choice of hot food (cooked yer way), snacks and drinks. Package A - Sweet-Thang Tour: This tour is sure to bring love closer as cupid makes the right setting for a romantic adventure. Soft music, lovers holding hands and floatin’ along the river are all the ingredients for an unforgettable sweet-thang-tour. Getting caught up in such a romantic adventure could surely lead to a proposal. You can blame it all on Dixie Lou.  *“Dixie Lou’s” special on Blackwater River for 2 people, 2 hours including unlimited veggie/cheese/dip tray and drinks for only $75.00.

Package B - Early-Bird Tour: Catches the Worm! This tour is delightfully scenic and will please all yer senses. Experience first mate responsibilities along with the wonderland of mother natures natural theme park. A nature lovers paradise. For an instant vacation, gather family and friends and just add water. Have you ever seen how the worm catches the Bird? Shhhhhhhhhh………..come with me.

Package C - Nautical-Historical Tour: The name Milton was derived from Mill Town which was an era of sawmills, lumber yards and ships being loaded for export. Prior to the Civil War era, Milton, Florida, was the number one lumber industry in the United States southeastern region. Blackwater River was the main artery for transporting lumber and supplies by ships across the country including to the European states. Flowing through the heart of Historic Milton, ya’ll be rollin’ or rowin’ along the riverbank seein’ historical landmarks. Shoot, ya’ll might even see an old brick road and where lovers used to meet along the riverbanks. Jest click yer mouse three times and you might be with me.

Package D - Fun-In-The-Season Tour: Visit our charming river town with the feeling of a small town hospitality. Miles away from crowed beaches and the roller coaster of life, this tour is tailored with yer needs in mind. A memorable excursion where you may sit, sleep, eat, drank, lay, swim, jump, walk on a white sandy beach, or jest do nothing at all. Its up to you. Bring family and friends to enjoy quality time at its best with the freedom to be adventurous. Enjoy a stress-free afternoon on the Dixie Lou. Don’t worry…..we won’t tell nobody.

Package E - Under-The-Moon Tour: Starting out at dusk, this trip is a howlin‘, hootin‘, good time for all the night owls and other various night life. A night floatin’ lazily along the river under the clear skies and bright stars will guarantee the perfect recipe for a "terrible time". Anythang goes, except sinking the boat. What happens on the river, “stays” in Dixie Lou’s camera. Howl with nature: The harrier the better! And yeah, firewood is included.

For tours that are 4 hours and above, following is a menu of “Dixie Lou’s” Specialties. We aim to please everyone so if we don’t offer something you can eat, please inform us at the time of booking your reservation and we will make the necessary accommodations. Please when booking your reservations, have your meals chosen. On tours that hot food is provided, we ask that each person chose one entrée from below. Our products are always fresh and cooked to order in front of yer eyes.

1. Dixie Lou Burger: The best burger on Blackwater River. 3/4lb all “Goat” burger. Cooked yer way with yer choice of cheese, mustard, mayo, ketchup, lettuce, pickles and “grilled onions”. If you can eat two of ‘em, the first one is on Dixie Lou. Of course yer picture might appear on our website as “one burger eatin’ joker“. ( yeah, we jest funin' bout the goat, its really all beef).

2. Lou-Lou’s Yardbird Special: The “Crow” that taste like the other white meat. 8oz. Grilled chicken breast marinated in Peddlar Jacks Special Sauce. Cooked yer way with yer choice of cheese, mustard, mayo, ranch, lettuce, pickles and “grilled onions”. This one is a favorite of many river rats. Yeah, its really jest chicken.

3. Peddlar Jack’s Dawg: A foot long smoked sausage, served on a foot long bun. Cooked yer way with yer choice of mustard, mayo, ketchup, sourkrap, relish, chopped onions and cheese. This one is sure to please the hungriest of them all. Did we tell you……..its really 12 inches long.

4. Widdle Woods Dawg: An 8 inch, quarter-pound, Swamp Rat. {We don’t charge extra if you catch it}{And it is cooked right in front of you}. Cooked yer way with yer choice of mustard, mayo, ketchup, sourkrap, relish, chopped onions and cheese. If you like "all-beef" hot dawgs, you will enjoy the flavor of this one. Did I let the “Rat” out of the bag?

** Grilled Steak Dinner: Includes yer choice of steak (Rib eye, T-Bone or Fillet-Me-Yon), baked beans, cool corn salad, tossed salad and fresh French Bread. A meal you won‘t forget. Steak dinners can be included on any tour that is 4 or more hours.
